Verizon Samsung U940 Glyde

Verizon Samsung U940 Glyde

The Verizon Samsung U940 Glyde is a new handset set to launch in late March. The Verizon Samsung U940 Glyde was originally code named the “Q-Ball”, but this was most likely an internal name for the device. We are actually happy about the new name change, as the code name seemed a little odd and Glyde seems to fit the handset much better since it’s a slider.

The new Verizon Samsung U940 Glyde will feature: CDMA / EV-DO, Bluetooth, full QWERTY keyboard and memory card slot. The camera will be 2 megapixels, and there is no word if it will have autofucus or not. The FCC documents show Verizon branding on the phone and also mention compatibility with Sprint’s Power Vision services - so I guess we’ll see!
