The Palm Treo 700wx is getting a Windows Mobile 6 update in the near future, it appears. An update for the Palm Treo 700wx would be a little strange, since it’s an older device. But, if this rumor turns out to be true, all you old-school Treo owners have something to cheer about.

The Palm Treo 700wx Windows Mobile 6 Professional update would include: improved calendar, enhanced email, Office 2007 support, Windows Vista compatibility, better security, email hot keys & email search, voice command via Bluetooth & even an audio patch. No word on when this nice Palm Treo 700wx Windows Mobile 6 update would be available, but hopefully soon.
