The T-Mobile Sidekick Gekko is almost here. The T-Mobile Sidekick Gekko is a brand new handset expected to be the iD’s successor. Judging by a leaked manual page, the Gekko will have replacable shells - similar to the iD. There’s also some other similarties to the older model.

The T-Mobile Sidekick Gekko will also feature: “video capture, microSD expansion (we should certainly hope so!) and a 2 megapixel camera”. As of now, we can’t confirm any other specs, although you can expect it to be similar to the iD. So, if you’ve been holding out for a new Sidekick, be sure to check out the T-Mobile Sidekick Gekko when it releases.
