Nokia N96 Cell Phone

Nokia N96

The Nokia N96 was announced today at MWC. We had heard rumors that the Nokia N96 may be released at this event, but now we can confirm it. The new handset is basically an updated N95, but has more of the look of an N81.

PhoneScoop has more: “The navigation cluster and numeric keypad are nearly identical, though the Nokia N96 has a flat front surface. The multimedia keys around the D-pad disappear when not in use, and the four function keys on the dual-slide ledge change from media to gaming. The Nokia N96 brings in DVB-H mobile TV and has a 2.8-inch screen, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and Carl Zeiss lens. It has 16GB of standard memory, combined with the microSD slot for a total of up to 24GB.”

The Nokia N96 will be available in Europe in Q3, 2008 for about $800. Hopefully they will send a North American version of the handset to the US soon.
