The HTC Touch Diamond was announced today. The HTC Touch Diamond is a brand new touchscreen handset from the manufacturer that packs some pretty impressive features. It’s scheduled to release in Europe first, and then on to other parts later. Hopefully a US launch is in the works soon. 

Here’s more details on the specs: “The HTC Touch Diamond features a large 2.8″ touchscreen display in a thin 11.5mm (.4″) package. Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900MHz) and dual-band WCDMA (900/2100MHz) offer full connectivity, and WiFi allows you to use the HTC Touch Diamond at your favorite HotSpot. There’s a built-in GPS receiver, as well.

A 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and video capture is on board, alongside a front-facing VGA-resolution camera for video calling, where supported. The HTC Touch Diamond features a whopping 4GB of internal storage, and there is no removable storage available. Bluetooth 2.0 enables the use of Bluetooth headsets, as well as file transfer, and the miniUSB port doubles as an audio jack.”
